Adjunct Instructor for Industrial/Process Technology

Responsibilities:

Will teach classes in the Industrial Process Technology department (Process Technology, Instrumentation and Industrial Technology fields. Specifically seeking instructor for Process instrumentation, Equipment & Systems, and Electrical/Instrument courses. Must have experience and knowledge of process operations, safety, health, and environmental, OSHA regulations process instrumentation, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Two-year degree or bachelor’s degree preferred; Industry certification/license preferred if candidate has not earned degree; Minimum of 3 years recent experience in the petrochemical/plastics industry and/or teaching experience in the industrial field. Experience and knowledge of process operations. Familiarity with Orange county industries. Basic computer literacy required. Valid driver’s license required. Must comply with established college policies and standards.

Two-year academic programs are offered in business, communication, computer science, criminal justice, education, liberal arts, theater, natural science and sociology. Thirty technical programs are available, leading to associate of applied science degrees, certificates of completion and institutional awards.
