Job SummaryThe Part-Time Business Innovation and Technology (BIT) Lab Manager is responsible for preparing, implementing, and maintaining the lab for all of the business technology and innovation courses.
Duties & Responsibilities- Oversees the functioning of the lab
- Provides support to full-time and part-time instructors and tutors during classes, webinars or events
- Provides technical assistance and information to faculty and students
- Develops and distributes instructional handouts
- Maintains and compiles data and prepares reports
- Maintains inventory of all equipment and maintains equipment in working order
- Maintains adequate stocks of lab supplies and instructional materials
- Stays abreast of technological innovations in business and makes recommendations regarding appropriate equipment, software
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and three (3) years of experience in classroom and/or lab instructional setting
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and proceduresPossess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Possess excellent organizational and supervisory skills Possess excellent interpersonal skills Possess excellent knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office software and database applicationsProficiency in using web-based applications Experience in project managementKnowledge of instructional technologies and strong computer skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
