Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in relevant scientific area such as Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or Immunology
- Relevant previous post-doctoral experience (for applicants with a previous postdoctoral fellowship)
- Relevant technical skills, including experience with tissue culture and routine laboratory experiments such as performance and analysis of real-time PCR, western blotting, biochemical assays, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, ELISA, gene transfection/transduction studies, generation of viral constructs
- Ability to record and maintain thorough lab research documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent skills in scientific writing
- Appropriate knowledge of basic statistics and facility with standard statistical programs such as GraphPad Prism
- Appropriate knowledge of Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to being a team player in the lab and advancing knowledge in the field
- Prior understanding/knowledge of antiviral/antitumor signaling (e.g., cGAS-STING)Prior experience with adipocyte culturePrior experience with advanced cellular imaging techniques, including live-cell imagingPrior experience with small animal handling and in vivo tumor studies
