VICE PRESIDENT FOR INSTITUTIONAL INCLUSION

Carroll University invites nominations and applications for its Vice President for Institutional Inclusion. New leadership will build upon the recent success at Carroll, and the past three years of dedicated work by various offices at the University. The VPII will oversee the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The inaugural Vice President for Institutional Inclusion (VPII) will be responsible for providing the strategic vision and framework to foster an inclusive campus community. Reporting to Carroll’s President, the VPII will lead efforts to develop, offer and support campus policies, programs, services and activities that educate faculty, staff and students on the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, and cultivate a climate of awareness, understanding and respect for all individuals and groups. They will lead in building a culture of inclusion at Carroll, integrating diversity, equity and inclusion work into everything Carroll does.

The VPII will provide expertise and a track record of success in launching an institutional commitment and articulating the resources and supports needed to apply best practices to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at Carroll University.

Located in Waukesha, WI, Carroll University is Wisconsin’s first, four- year institution of higher learning and is currently celebrating its 175th Anniversary. Today’s Carroll is grounded in the liberal arts tradition and a leader in the health sciences. It offers more than 95 areas of study, including a variety of graduate programs and a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. Carroll is proud of its long-standing relationship with the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA).

The Search Committee for the VPII will begin reviewing applications in late October and will continue until the position is filled.
