Assistant Professor or higher for a full-time faculty position starting September 2020:
Computer Science

Primary areas of teaching will be:

• CS1910 Computer Science 1
• CS1920 Computer Science 2

Minimum Requirements for candidates:

• A PhD. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• 5 years of total teaching experience
• Previous teaching experience with the required courses or research in closely related areas
• Notable experience in teaching and working with Python
• Proficiency in communication in English

Preferred Requirements for candidates:

• Industrial experience besides academia
• Teaching in universities with remarkable student diversity
• Supervision of projects that involve engagement of undergraduate students

Main responsibilities:
The faculty member conducts classes following the original campus’s outlines for each course. The assessment criteria also follow the original campus’s criteria. Teaching at UofCanada is conducted over the period of three semesters Fall, Winter, and Summer.
