Job Description

A postdoctoral fellow/ senior scientist position is available in the Perinatal Research Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UMKC School of Medicine to study molecular mechanisms controlling placental development, fetal brain development and the vascular complications associated with different pregnancy disorders. This position can be filled at the level of Postdoctoral Fellow or Senior Scientist.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree. Expertise in the areas of human placental research, tissuespecific gene targeting, immunobiology of pregnancy and graft versus host disease, neurodevelopmental biology, and animal models of pregnancy diseases is desired. Two years of postdoctoral experience is required for the Senior Scientist position.

Full time, benefit-eligible, 12 month unranked non tenure track
