To provide psychiatric care, within scope of said practice, with an emphasis on the prevention of illness, promotion of health and development of health maintenance to a diverse UND student population. Practice will support student retention and academic success and meet standard of care in compliance with professional discipline and those of Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation (AAAHC).
Minimum Requirements- Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university
- Licensed/eligible for licensure prior to start date to practice in the state of North Dakota and Minnesota as a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) with prescriptive authority
- Board Certification from American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for federal DEA licensure
- Current or able to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Successful completion of criminal history records check
- 2+ years experience working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in college health population
- Experience in interdisciplinary, integrated team-based care with medical providers, care coordinators, and community case management/ ARMHS providers

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position ClassificationCommensurate with Experience
Work Schedule/Start DateThis position is a non-benefited position providing 8+ hours of direct patient care for psychiatric mental health patients at UND Student Health Services to students in person and/or by telemedicine. Normal clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30.
