Position Summary
The Religious Studies program seeks qualified individuals to join us as lecturers in Religious Studies for non-benefited, part-time teaching assignments. The specific course involved may vary from semester to semester, depending on departmental needs.
Essential Functions
Adjuncts are expected to fulfill all responsibilities associated with teaching assigned courses, including but not limited to:
• Conducting all assigned class meetings in a timely and prepared way
• Thorough and accurate correction of assignments, providing appropriate constructive feedback
• Prompt return of corrected work and recording of grades• Providing guidance and support to students
• Offering regular weekly office hours on campus for students
• Administering midterm course evaluations Salary and Benefits:The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $1,452 per credit hour (lower division) and $1,597 per credit hour (upper division). The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
