Job Details
To provide laboratory support for the Funeral Services Department Piedmont Technical College. Which requires specific technical skills in preparing materials for all laboratory activities. Responsible for maintenance and functionality of laboratory equipment making minor adjustments as required. Work with bio hazardous materials, preparing solutions. Maintaining all laboratory safety procedures and report violations to the Director. Maintain/Develop OSHA Standards.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsAn associate degree in a + (3) years technical work experience in a related laboratory setting in funeral home/crematory setting.
Preferred QualificationsPrefer at least an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science; Be a Funeral Director and Licensed Embalmer in the state of South Carolina or within 3 months of employment. Relocate to the Piedmont Technical College service area within 3 months of employment.
