Job Summary:

Temporary, part-time instructor Spring Semester 2022.
Various Biology courses, days and times to be determined.

Essential Functions:

Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s in Biology or any Master’s with 18 graduate semester credits in Biology.

Anatomy/Physiology: Master’s in Biology including two courses in Anatomy and/or Physiology or any Master’s with 18 graduate semester credits in Biology including two courses in Anatomy and/or Physiology.

Microbiology: Master’s in Biology including two courses in Microbiology or any Master’s with 18 graduate semester credits in Biology. Coursework must include two courses in Microbiology.

Nutrition: Master’s in Biology including two graduate courses with a primary focus of Nutrition or any Master’s with 18 graduate semester courses in Biology with two courses with a primary focus of Nutrition.

Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications:

Teaching experience.
