The Adjunct Instructor for Culinary Arts and Hospitality reports directly to the Chair of Business and Industrial technology. Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: coordinating activities and directing training of students; instructing students in preparing and cooking foods in a commercial kitchen; and supporting the mission of LSCPA. Performs other related work as assigned. Teaching assignment may include day and evening classes.Minimum Qualifications:
Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field. Preferred Qualifications:
Three years culinary experience.
At least one year of leadership/supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field. Salary:
Five years culinary experience.
Two years of leadership/supervisory experience.
Knowledge of purchasing, ordering, receiving, and inventory procedures.
