A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time, exempt prosthodontist to join the predoctoral clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is available immediately. ASDOH is dedicated to educating caring, technically adept dentists who become community and education leaders serving those in need.
This clinical faculty position has responsibilities in teaching, research and service, with a focus on predoctoral clinical dental education. This faculty member will provide didactic, preclinical, and clinical instruction, as well as the provision of direct patient care in all areas of general dentistry with a focus on prosthodontics and advanced restorative treatment. This position will report to the Director of Prosthodontics and works closely with clinical directors of ASDOH’s Comprehensive Care Units and other specialty directors to provide dental students interdisciplinary clinical experiences in comprehensive patient-centered oral health care with a focus on prosthodontics and advanced restorative treatment including CAD/CAM techniques. Other key expectations include a commitment to diversity, social justice, and promotion of the mission of ASDOH including an atmosphere of respect, collegiality and professionalism.
Position Requirements and Preferences:- Education: DMD or DDS degree from an institution accredited by American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or completion of an advanced Prosthodontic education program from an institution accredited by the CODA.
- Experience: Minimum of three years clinical experience prosthodontics with demonstrated mentoring skills.
- Preferences: Eligibility for dental licensure in Arizona; experience in academics, clinical research and private practice desirable. Advanced education in CODA-accredited program in prosthodontics.
