The Office of Admissions at Stockton University is seeking a temporary position to support the recruitment, marketing, and application processing efforts within Graduate Admissions. This position will report directly to the Director of Graduate Admissions and assist in the planning, implementation and coordinating of a comprehensive graduate enrollment strategy.

This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

Successful candidates will be required to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccine status prior to their start date. Religious or Medical waivers may be requested at the time of employment offer.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic customer service functions such as email correspondence, phone calls, walk-in visits and zoom appointments.
  • Assist with responding to all prospective graduate student inquiries about admissions process/requirements and program information in timely manner
  • Assist with the processing of graduate school applications in the University’s enrollment management system
  • Assist in the preparation of graduate application files for review by the graduate program coordinators and assist the graduate admissions team with follow-up decision communication.
  • Represent graduate admissions at internal and external admissions events as needed
  • Assist with marketing and recruitment tasks including, but not limited to, brochures and postcard edits, digital advertising campaigns, website edits, etc.
  • Meet with prospective students to provide information regarding graduate programs and the application process both virtually and in-person.
  • Assist with social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in marketing or advertising
  • High motivation and commitment to Stockton University, including the ability to self-start, be calm under pressure, meet deadlines, work without direct supervision, be able to multi-task, problem-solve, and relate to a variety of personalities under diverse circumstances
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and files
  • Outgoing personality and able to comfortably interact with new people in a pleasant manner

  • Excellent communication and computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Recruit, Qualtrics, and other University data management systems
