The college offers a world-class education, with 281 PhD students, 396 MS students, and 1732 undergraduate computer science and informatics majors. Job Description:

The College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for tenure-track faculty in the two general areas of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. We also encourage applications from candidates whose research spans one of those areas and an adjacent area, such as Computer Vision+Graphics or Machine Learning+Biology. This search is focused on candidates at the Associate and Assistant Professor levels, but exceptional candidates at other ranks may be considered. Requirements:

Before starting in this position, applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related area and should show evidence of exceptional research promise.
