Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $12.00 - $14.75 an hour based on experience
Schedule: 10-20 hours per week
Position Summary:
This temporary position is responsible for safely transporting passengers from one location to another on predetermined route at the Tampa Campus, allows those authorized to board bus and applies passenger guidelines. We are recruiting for part time positions able to work between 10 to 20 hours per week.
Duties:
This temporary, non-student, one year commitment is responsible for safely transporting passengers from one location to another; keeping accurate ridership counts; utilizing the 2-way radio and mobile data terminal for status and location; completing daily paperwork such as pre-trip and mileage logs; operating ADA equipment; cleaning the interior of the bus, maintaining all vehicle logs; giving information to riders and assisting where needed.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience driving buses, or passenger vans; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Possession of a current Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B driver's license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction is required upon employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer experience in the transit field. Experience driving same vehicles in a university/college setting preferred.

A current Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B driver's license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction.
