JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This position will provide administrative support to the Department of Medicine's Fellowship Program Director to assist with and coordinate aspects of the hematology/oncology fellowship program in addition to the other fellowship programs.



    Create monthly schedules into the residency management program (MedHub) for the fellows to include the input of the call schedule into the online hospital call schedule PerfectServe.Create, download, and log evaluations using medical residency software (MedHub).Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls, take and relay messages, provide information to callers, transfer to appropriate faculty/staff member.Provide general administrative and clerical support for fellowship staff and faculty such as preparation of letters, reports, records, and other documents from rough drafts and corrected copies.Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, and filing.Monitor duty hours and print reports from MedHub regarding any duty hours violations.Assist fellowship director with the fellow interviewing process by scheduling faculty interviews with applicants, making gift bags for applicants (if applicable), picking up applicants at information desk, and ensuring they meet with scheduled interviewers.Assist fellowship program director in satisfying future ACGME and RRC accreditation guideline as they arise.Performs other duties as necessary.


EDUCATION:  High School Diploma and four (4) years’ experience OR Bachelor’s Degree will be accepted in lieu of experience. Must have knowledge to perform the needed responsibilities of the position. Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently with a diverse group of professionals, verbal and written communication skills necessary. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
