Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The System/Application Administrator shares responsibility for system administration and data management of the university’s Constituent Relationship Management system (currently Ellucian’s Advance Web), and data interfaces between the CRM and related systems. Reporting to the Sr. Director, this position administers the Advance application, configures the system as needed, writes code to exchange data with other systems both internally and externally, imports data into the system utilizing SQL commands and system utilities, and manages recurring processes. Works with the Sr. Director and others to coordinate usability testing and other activities designed to ensure interfaces and imports meet the needs of target audiences.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ SQL or Oracle programming experienceORHigh school diploma/equivalent and 11 years’ SQL or Oracle programming experience

Preferred Qualifications

1.Web design and development experience working with accessibility, usability testing and database development2.Experience with SQL for data importing and exporting3.Experience with Crystal Reports, ASP, PHP/MySQL, AJAX, Java, vb.net, CSS or Javascript
