Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining campus buildings utilizing the carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC trades as well as housekeeping and floor maintenance.Purpose of the Position:
This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) and/or Competencies required and preferred:
Required: Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :
Knowledge of cleaning methods
Knowledge of cleaning supplies
Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students
Ability to work 30 hours / week up to 1500 hours / year
1st or 2nd shift and weekend hours
Education Required: Valid driver’s license Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Preferred :
Experience Required: Experience in cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.

Starting at $13.00 per hourConditions of Employment:
