Job Summary This position provides specialized support for university human resources functions.Responsibilities- Provides support for the employee recruitment and hiring process. (30%)Places job advertisements for open positions.Onboards new employees; assists employees in completing paperwork; verifies completeness of forms.Runs background and E-verify checks.Prepares new hire packages.Enters new hire information into computerized database.
- Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.More than one year of related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.Knowledge of university and departmental policies and procedures.Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.Skill in the management of confidential information.Skill in the management of files and records.Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier.Skill in oral and written communication.
