Related work experience to include marketing, public relations, or event planning.Responsibilities The duties include but are not limited to:
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University and the Hull College of Business. Implement and monitor a comprehensive academic program development plan.
  • Advising: Provide quality academic advising from admissions to graduation, monitor student performance to ensure proper progression and graduation; collect and disseminate general program information, requirements, and course schedules to HCOB students and ensure up-to-date information is provided on the website; communicate program rules and ensure rules are applied. Develop and maintain graduate assistantship applications; review applications and match candidates with professors; process graduate assistantships and work with HR and admissions to ensure that each is correctly entered in time for tuition waivers and payroll processing; monitor graduate assistantship budget and utilization, conduct and collect performance reviews. Supervise and manage graduate assistants.
  • Admissions: Cultivate and respond to admission inquiries with a high degree of professionalism, assist in developing and maintaining quality application materials, handle all aspects of admission from initial inquiry through program matriculation, and create, maintain, and update student files. Receive, route, and respond to correspondence, gather information, and initiate communication with prospective students, deans, and campus departments as necessary to provide good service and ensure quality decision making.
  • General Program Administration: Coordinate awards and scholarships; review student academic progress, work with advisors to provide intervention with students as needed, and annually evaluate grades to determine student eligibility; monitor probations; support all program logistics. Plan and implement extracurricular and co-curricular activities/events for students, coordinate event management functions, including selection, scheduling, contracting services, and delivery, etc.
  • Collaborate with and provide support for program leadership, department chairs and faculty, advisors, and students. Develop mentoring relationships with students will facilitate the success of students and the program.
  • Coordinate review of applications for prospective program participants. Secure appropriate date for incoming student orientation and plan specific sessions/activities/events.
  • Facilitate onboarding process for students accepted into the Hull MBA programs. Recruiting: Assist in developing and implementing recruiting and marketing strategies; plan, coordinate, and attend recruiting events; assist in developing and maintaining the HCOB webpages related to graduate programs for potential and current students; assist in developing and updating marketing materials for HCOB graduate programs.
  • Collaborate with faculty in support of the development of the College's new graduate-level programs. Develop and implement communications plan for all audiences (emails, events, etc.).
  • Make recommendations to improve department policies and procedures to faculty and business school administration. Assist Deans and Committees with outcome assessment and strategic planning to further develop MBA program offerings.
  • Alumni: Maintain records of alumni; develop and implement communications plan including alumni surveys; plan, coordinate, and attend alumni events and events to network current students and alumni. Perform all duties and responsibilities with or without supervision, exercising discretion as needed to ensure quality customer service and programmatic integrity. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain all relevant databases, liaising as needed with The Graduate School, deans, and business manager, and ensure accuracy of web pages. Serve as the Augusta University WebMBA representative/liaison to include representing the University during orientation and other consortium events; responsible for Online MBA student processing and oversight.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
