“The Guaranteed Interview Program connects students with employers for initial screening interviews for career opportunities in their field of study. All students that are on track to successfully complete Applied degree or Workforce programs at the College are eligible to sign up for an interview. This position will support employer recruiting for the Guaranteed Interview Program by assisting with outreach efforts to identify, engage, and retain employer contacts that are committed to providing interviews on a regular basis that will result in the recruitment of NOVA students and alumni. This position is part of the Business Engagement Center, Employer and Career Services Team and reports to the Recruitment Programs Manager. Key Responsibilities Include:• Collaborating with manager to create a strategic plan and timeline to implement guaranteed interviews for designated programs of study• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to support the Guaranteed Interview Program• Managing program agreements and partnerships• Researching and identifying employers for outreach and engagement• Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with employers and program stakeholders• Developing promotional marketing materials and communications • Collaborating with deans, program directors, and faculty to design and launch program• Using the College’s career management system, Symplicity, to organize interviews, track data, and keep detailed records• Supervising other employees assigned to support the Guaranteed Interview Program”



Special Assignments:

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple constituent groups
  • Experience in working with diverse populations
  • Experience in working in highly collaborative environments and demonstrated ability to work with a team
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including large or small group presentations
  • Proficiency with a career services management system, preferably Symplicity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders or clients
  • Experience with community or business development outreach and engagement
  • Experience producing promotional marketing materials and communications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
