Maintenance Crew Leader - Athletic Plant Maintenance

This posirtion will assist with oversight of daily operations with regards to daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and custodial duties for all Athletic Facilities.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Oversee staff/crew for set-up, take down, and cleaning for events.

Oversee staff/crew for daily facility and grounds maintenance and cleaning to include pressure washing

Oversee staff/crew for special maintenance and cleaning projects for all Athletics facilities.

Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required level/type of experience:

experience working with facilities performing daily and routine maintenance, cleaning, and event preparation preparations.

Preferred level/type of experience:

experience working with facilities performing daily and routine maintenance, cleaning, and event preparation preparations in a collegiate athletics setting or equivalent.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Preferred knowledge of basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-point) Knowledge of small engine maintenance

Competencies/Qualifications:

Knowledge of general maintenance

Ability to manage multiple task assigned

Ability to identify safety hazard and fix or report them

Solid communication skills

Ability to maintain a friendly and professional attitude

Excellent diagnostic skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Time management skills
