Graduate Program Assessment Coordinator

Position Information: Description

The Director of Graduate Program Assessment provides essential support in the recruitment and retention of graduate students across the multiple graduate program of CEHD.  The main purpose of the position is to work with graduate program coordinators in the college to plan, implement, and collect assessment data demonstrating program goals and student learning outcomes are being met. This includes working with program directors to successfully pursue and comply with accreditation requirements.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesGraduate Program Support

    Coordinate periodic meetings of graduate program directors and serve as liaison with the Graduate School and other relevant officesMaintain and update program information webpages, including student outcome indicatorsOther duties as assigned by the Dean
Data Analysis: Accreditation

    Collaborate with appropriate University departments to ensure students, staff, and faculty are able to access data management systemAssist students, staff, and faculty with use of data management systemUpdate assessment tools and integrate into data management system as neededCommunicate with instructors throughout data collection processCoordinate outcome data collection and analysis processesAnalyze data and produce reports for quality improvement, recruitment, and accreditation purposesProvide data analysis for annual assessment reports
Data Analysis: Internal/Quality Assurance

    Develop and manage Department data quality assurance processesCollaborate with University departments and Department faculty and staff to obtain application, admissions, enrollment, and graduation dataManage multiple databases (applicants, current students, completers of graduate programs, etc.)Analyze data using various data organization tools (i.e. Microsoft Xcel) and statistical software (i.e. SPSS, R)Analyze data and produce reports identifying short- and long-term trends among studentsAnalyze survey data regarding students who decline offers of admission, and students who accept offers of admission but do not enroll in courses
Required Competencies

Minimum Requirements
    Bachelor’s DegreeExperience with any videoconference technology (examples include Zoom, Adobe, GoTo Meeting, Teams, etc.)Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly ExcelSuccessful completion of Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
    Master’s Degree in any field with an emphasis on research and analytical skills.Experience using statistical software for data analyses (e.g., SPPS, R).Experience managing databasesWorking knowledge or experience in graduate studies
Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

$48,000 + commensurate with experience, exempt

Work Schedule/Start Date

40 hours per week/November 16, 2021
