Lake Forest College seeks a part-time department assistant to provide administrative support to faculty in an academic building on campus.

Qualifications include:

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience
  • Previous business experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, plus an aptitude and willingness to learn new computer-related skills
  • Ability to track budgets and expenses
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with students, staff and faculty
  • An Associate degree at minimum; BA preferred

Position available:

20 hours per week year-round.
