Job Summary The School of Economics seeks to hire an Assistant Professor or advanced Assistant Professor of Economics. We seek applicants with research interests in empirical microeconomics. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding applied econometrics skills and scholarly interests at the nexus of two or more areas of focus within the School: development, environment and energy, health, or globalization/trade. Applicants whose research includes social justice issues are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching econometrics and other courses relevant to their expertise, as well as developing collaborative research with faculty in the School of Economics and others at Georgia Tech.

Required Qualifications Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications We prefer individuals with particular strengths in causal inference and/or experience in machine learning methods. Applicants should have a record of excellence in scholarship and teaching commensurate with their time in rank, or should show promise for both research and teaching excellence in the case of junior applicants.
