Job Summary:

Main point of contact for video production throughout the Spears School of Business. Responsible for creatively and professionally shooting and producing video content to effectively communicate the Spears School's mission. Some production sessions may take place off campus.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Journalism, Strategic Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field One year demonstrated experience shooting and editing/producing professional videos; experience using video cameras, tripod, microphones and lights; understanding of fundamentals of lighting and audio;
Proven experience utilizing non-linear editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier;
Demonstrated ability to take multiple projects from concept to completion while meeting stringent deadlines; strong communication, project coordination and scheduling skills. Driver's License needed to drive to off-campus production sessions in University owned vehicle. Ability to provide strong customer service and maintain positive relationships. Must have ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and work with numerous stakeholders. Must have ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Proven experience working with a variety of audiences to ensure proper image, mission and ideals of organization are met and exceeded through all internal and external communication mediums. Should exhibit initiative to develop and complete projects and be able to work with others internally (department/college) and external customers in business, industry and government. Must have proven ability to deal with multiple, ongoing projects simultaneously. Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, show diplomacy in working with a variety of people, and possess the necessary videography skills. Must be proficient in effective communication and possess interpersonal relations skills, independent judgment, discretion in handling confidential matters, and the ability to work under pressure of deadlines and be sensitive to OSU and the Spears image. Must be able to lift and carry video and photography equipment.

Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences was founded in 1972 and is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as graduate programs in forensics, biomedicine, healthcare and athletic training.   Our core business is education; and it takes more than 500 faculty and staff members to run our institution.  Our mission is to educate and train osteopathic physicians, research scientists and other healthcare professionals with an emphasis on serving rural and underserved Oklahomans.  We offer more than 10 different specialty clinics to care for patients in the area.
