This position provides instructional design support to faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants on the NASA STEM Pathway Activities-Consortium for Education (NSPACE) Cooperative Agreement to facilitate the development and delivery of high quality academic courses, specialized instructional programs and innovative learning models.
Evening and weekends are required on occasion. Some travel required.

Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field and two years of experience providing curriculum design and training in an academic environment.
In-depth knowledge of learning theories, instructional models and practices, including interactive teaching methods and emerging technologies.
Develop professional development programs, delivered in varied formats, and employing high impact instructional approaches to faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants across a broad range of teaching and learning related topics.
Have the ability to develop effective instructional materials and assessment procedures to be used by instructors.
Hold extensive, practical knowledge of instructional technologies related to teaching and learning, having high potential for improving student performance.
Have in-depth knowledge and experience with learning management systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across academic disciplines.
One year of experience supporting faculty in instructional design and/or technology training and in online course delivery.
Must be a self-starter and be able to manage time and multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, accomplish goals, and meet deadlines. Other duties as may be assigned.
