Job Description

Seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach introductory physics courses in person on campus during spring 2022 semester (Jan 18 to May 17, 2022). Courses are General Physics I and II, which are algebra-based and covering standard topics from mechanics to electricity and magnetism. Duties include preparing and delivering lectures, grading and course administration.

Minimum Qualifications

MS in Physics, Astronomy, science education, or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours completed in physics content

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of how to engage intellectually with students using best practices in student-centered teaching to help STEM-minded students with varying levels of preparation develop a growth mindset and succeed academically

$5,000 per semester, per course
