- Anschutz Campus – Exemptions are allowed for medical or religious reasons.
- Consolidated/Central Services Administration – Will follow Anschutz policy on exemptions.
- Conduct psychological evaluations for all live organ donors. Evaluation includes interview and appropriate testing to rule out contraindications for donation.
- Conduct psychological interviews and testing for potential organ recipients referred by transplant providers.
- Attend and participate in all interprofessional Transplant selection committee meetings.
- Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary Transplant teams to develop clinical practice guidelines to ensure participation and buy in of the respective disciplines, including the program’s medical and surgical directors.
- Provide the full range of evidenced-based psychological screening, assessment, psychosocial & behavioral interventions (e.g., individual, group, family), and education to patients seen in the Transplant Service using best practice models.
- Provide assessment to patients in the Transplant Service with histories of self-harm, addiction, mental health conditions and prior trauma as well as individuals now at increased risk for depression, PTSD, and relational, financial, and other challenges.
- Demonstrate competence in diversity of all patients, families, and colleagues with respect to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, gender, gender identity, ability status, religion, political beliefs, socioeconomic status, and any other factors related to systemic oppression.
- Consult and collaborate with interprofessional Transplant team members to develop intervention strategies related to physical and psychosocial challenges.
- Actively participate in treatment and follow-up planning for patients and families.
- Chart patient visits using an electronic medical record.
- Triage and refer patients as needed to collaborating colleagues across disciplines, departments, and communities.
- Collaborate with the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service as a team member.
- Participate in Transplant Service quality and performance assessment projects.
- Participate in training Department of Psychiatry Post-Doctoral Fellows in Clinical Health Psychology as well as Residents and Fellows in the specialty clinical Department.

- 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program with an APA or APPIC approved internship.
- Post-doctoral fellowship focused on health psychology, rehabilitation psychology, consultation-liaison services and/or integrated behavioral health care in specialty settings such as Transplant, CL, medical trauma or other complex in-patient units.
- Eligible for licensure or a licensed Psychologist in Colorado.
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing through the University of Colorado Health system.
- 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.

- Experience related to the impact of trauma, substance abuse and social determinants related to health, complex physical conditions, and recovery.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team model and with diverse colleagues, medical specialists, and trainees across disciplines.
- Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
- Strong commitment to interprofessional, team-based care within the Department of Psychiatry and in integrated specialty settings.
- Interest in developing a collaborative program of research in specialty medical settings, although research interest is not required for this position.
