Job Duties :

The Assistant Director of Ticket Services, reporting to the Executive Director of Ticket Operations, is responsible for providing support in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Ticket Office by providing excellent customer service. This includes answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries and assisting walk-in customers. The Assistant Director will oversee the ticket operations for the sports of Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Softball as well as assist with the ticket operations of football and baseball. Other duties of the position include, but are not limited to, processing orders, overseeing group sales and database management. Nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours are required in the performance of duties.

The Assistant Director will build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with athletics, Pirate Club and University staff, students, unit vendors, outside event contacts and all constituencies and stakeholders on all levels, including face-to-face, phone, and electronic communications. The Assistant Director will abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and all applicable conferences or associations. The individual serving in this position must be able to think independently to interpret and communicate guidelines, policies etc. for the appropriate application to various questions and situations. The Assistant Director will perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

License or Certification required by statute or regulation:

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

- Bachelor’s degree - At least one year experience in a collegiate ticket office, Division I FBS preferred - Knowledge of NCAA regulations - Knowledge of Paciolan Ticketing Software preferred
