The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level starting August 2022. 

The CU Denver Economics department offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics and master’s and doctorate degrees in health economics.  The typical teaching load is four courses per year, with a possible course release in the first year.

Position Emphasis:

Preference will be given to candidates working in all fields in applied microeconomics and whose research enhances existing areas of strength within the department (clas.ucdenver.edu/economics). 

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $121,000 to $130,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Economics

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong research agenda in applied microeconomics.
