This position will work with senior management, the Finance staff, and other key leaders to ensure that the Hospital and associated entities are operating effectively, with sound financial analysis, and appropriate financial and operating controls in place. Accountable for overseeing and managing the Finance team in the preparation, processing, and monitoring of revenue and expense activities. This includes the preparation of financial statements and other specific supporting schedules, analysis, reports and reconciliations with overall responsibility over the maintenance of financial records and procedures to adequately safeguard the assets of the hospital.
Minimum Education:•Bachelors in Business, Economics, or Commerce, with major/emphasis in AccountingMinimum Experience/Knowledge:•7-10 years Hospital accounting/management experience•Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Lawson, budgeting, and other cost accounting systems•Highly effective written and verbal skills and ability to multi-task as demands change•Analytical and critical thinking skills to effective problem-solve financial and operational issuesRequired License/Certification:•CPA •Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
