Job Summary:

Administrative Assistant for Immigration Related Concerns
Back up support for ISS Immigration Officers (F & J Visas)
Maintain digital list and oversee front line ISS duties and functions
Collection & preparation of appropriate forms and reports as required
Preparation of letters or forms to be disbursed
Assist ISS Grad Assistants with daily communication and scheduling
Assist ISS Grad Assistants with daily appointments and traffic flow
Monitor and maintain office equipment
Maintain inventory of daily perishable supplies
Back up support for international student employment processing
Back up support for ISS employee bi-weekly payroll issues
All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED and five years of related experience. Education may be substituted in lieu of experience. Notary Public-After hire Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Access, BANNER system, SEVIS system, TERRA DOTTA system.
Diplomatic communication skills.
Sensitivity to cultural issues and differences.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in International Studies or a related field and four years of related experience. Foreign language skills in any of these: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic or Spanish. NAFSA training for F or J immigration guidelines.
