Responsibilities ITS Communications team is responsible for the presentation of the ITS Service Catalog, ITS website, knowledge base, and related documentation. The Communications team is responsible for incident and maintenance communications for all IT services and handles requests from FSU departments for mass emails to the FSU community. As part of the Change Leadership and Planning (CLP) team, the ITS Communication team also works with ITS to launch new services, which involves updating the Service Catalog, developing the ITS website and knowledge base, creating training materials including print and digital media.

Responsible for implementation, coordination, documentation, development, and maintenance of the ITS Service catalog, ITS Website, and ITS Knowledge Base. Gathers requirements from users develop and tests code to support new and existing webpages.

Acts as liaison with other staff, departments, and groups in the coordination of campus-wide campaigns and programs. Develops communication materials in support of ITS services. Coordinates effective dissemination of information to the University community through all appropriate media channels including mass e-mail, ITS Status Page, customer and client meetings, training aids, web content, and print.

Documents ITS service-related incidents and planned maintenances. Monitors and disseminates messages alerting FSU to service availability.

Coordinates meetings and acts as the liaison between user groups and technical staff to foster effective communication with new and existing initiatives.

Provides on-call support for ITS services and their integration with other FSU enterprise systems by researching and communicating with stakeholders.

Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.

Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems. Microsoft office products, Windows and basic computer functions.

Preferred Technical writing experience, experience with Web CMS and knowledge of HTML. Experience with SalesForce CRM and/or Marketing Cloud highly desirable.
