Job Summary Job ID: 234726Position #: 40029963 We seek distinguished investigators with NIH funding to join the Center for Biotechnology & Genomic Medicine (CBGM) at Augusta University. We currently have a faculty position open at the Associate Professor to Professor level. This position will be part of a well-funded and growing team of researchers that are dedicated to advancing translational research through the use of modern high throughput technologies. The position requires a doctoral degree and additional research experience and extramural funding. The CBGM is currently looking for applicants with expertise in the following disciplines: mucosal host-pathogen interactions, molecular genomics and/or microbiome influences on mammalian diseases. Investigators exploring the impact of the microbiome on metabolic disorders and/or cancer are of significant interest. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent program.Required Qualifications Ph.D., Ph.D/MD, MD from an accredited college or university.Shift/Salary/Benefits Academic rank, tenure status and salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.Conditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review.
