Job Summary

The Part-Time Supervisor is responsible for the organization, implementation, and supervision of note takers for students with disabilities and overseeing support for students who have disabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Recruits, screens, monitors and trains note takers
  • Maintains the note taking data base
  • Monitors the administration of student feedback surveys
  • Arranges and oversees the placement of special furniture in classrooms
  • Attends campus and college wide functions as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and one (1) year of experience working with students with disabilities
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Office and database applications
  • Possess knowledge of computer-aided software for people with disability
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening assignments and/or a workshop or meeting at another campus
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff

Additional Requirements

The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
