Job SummaryThe Part-Time Supervisor is responsible for the organization, implementation, and supervision of note takers for students with disabilities and overseeing support for students who have disabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities- Recruits, screens, monitors and trains note takers
- Maintains the note taking data base
- Monitors the administration of student feedback surveys
- Arranges and oversees the placement of special furniture in classrooms
- Attends campus and college wide functions as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in related field and one (1) year of experience working with students with disabilities
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Office and database applications
- Possess knowledge of computer-aided software for people with disability
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening assignments and/or a workshop or meeting at another campus
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff
