Executive Director of Administration


Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis invites nominations and applications for chief business officer of the campus. The position also serves as chief business officer of Ivy Tech Community College Hamilton County.

Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana's largest public postsecondary institution and the nation's largest singly accredited statewide community college system, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana and also serves thousands of students annually online. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering associate degree and short-term certificate programs, and trainings that align to the needs of the community. The College also offers courses and associate degree programs that seamlessly transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana, as well as out of state, for a more affordable route to a bachelor's degree.

Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis is the largest of the Ivy Tech campuses, serving students in Marion, Boone, and Hendricks Counties with an annual budget of $65M. Hamilton County, with a budget of $5M, is Ivy Tech Community College's newest campus, having celebrated its grand opening in July 2021. Together, the two campuses serve nearly 35,000 students.

The Executive Director of Administration (EDA) serves as chief business officer for Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis and Hamilton County. The Executive Director reports to the Chancellors of both campuses and maintains a physical presence at each campus. The Executive Director directs all financial and accounting activities of the campuses and plans, prepares, and administers annual operating, capital, utilities and lease budgets. The Executive Director will be a member of the Chancellors' cabinets at Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis and Hamilton County, which provide leadership that aligns with the College's core values and implement strategies to meet the needs of a diverse community and student body on campus. The Executive Director will hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and will have significant work experience, ideally in higher education.
