The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seeks applicants for a tenure-track or tenure eligible faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the field of materials chemistry, broadly defined or related field, starting August 15, 2022. To be considered at the Associate rank, the candidate must have independent teaching and research experience.

The ideal candidate should be able to integrate their research activities with existing faculty in the Department of Chemistry and other interdisciplinary research programs, such as the Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at the University of Miami.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry by the beginning of the appointment and significant postdoctoral experience.
