The Department of Sociology & Criminology at the University of Miami is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor in the area(s) of medical sociology/race, with a focus on race and health inequities. The committee is particularly interested in candidates who can teach medical sociology at the undergraduate and graduate level, in addition to other electives focused on race and health inequities. Applicant should have a PhD at the time of appointment. The Department offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees and maintains an extensive research portfolio in the areas of medical sociology, criminology, and race/ethnicity/immigration.
