Financial Aid Systems Specialist

This position supports GCSC’s mission by providing system and processing support for the financial aid office.

This position is sensitive and will require a criminal background check.

• Exchange data files with Federal, State, local, third-party agencies
• Run various financial aid jobs and batch processes
• Write Banner® rules and population selections
• Perform Return to Title IV calculations required by the U.S. Department of Education
• Liaison with Information Technology Services to provide input and testing for –
Reports
Automated operations
Banner® setup, configuration,
upgrades, and patches
Research, identification, and
implementation of technical
options/solutions
Resolution of ad-hoc data questions and issues

An Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required.

Experience with Banner®, SQL, and programming is preferred.
