Teaches undergraduate or graduate course(s) in the classroom and online as assigned.

2. Selects teaching and evaluation strategies appropriate to the students and setting.

3. Presents ideas clearly.

4. Creates a climate that is conducive to learning.

5. Stimulates intellectual curiosity.

6. Provides and maintains a reliable schedule of office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation and consultation.

7. Participates in department and college-wide committees and meetings.

8. Engages in curriculum development related to current and new courses.

9. Maintains a personal professional development plan, which may include research and/or other creative activities, to assure growth and currency within the academic field.

10. Displays behavior consistent with professional ethics.

5. Ability to apply concepts to practical situations.

8. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables simultaneously.Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures:1. Active, unencumbered RN or ARNP license from any state in the U.S.

2. An active Florida RN or ARNP License (or be eligible for).Required Education:Master's DegreeMajor (if required): Required Experience:1. Three (3) years of teaching experience.

2. Must obtain a doctoral degree in nursing or related field within six (6) months of employment.Preferred Qualifications:Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Nursing or closely related field.Is this a safety sensitive position?No Background Screening Required?No Pre-Employment Conditions:
