Subject to Grant Funding?:No Essential Job Functions:1. Directs, and coordinates, all business functions associated with the management of up to 2,500 undergraduate/graduate residential beds: deposits, billing, contracts, assignments, immunizations, room assessments.

2. Oversees student residential facilities and maintenance operations; assists in the management of long-term maintenance, renovation, and construction plans; collaborates with Facilities Management and Physical Plant on day-to-day maintenance issues; ensures a high level of communication with Area Coordinators regarding facility issues.

3. Ensures the Housing department has a clear vision, goals, and a basis of standard operating procedures to enhance the student living environment, student safety, student development and training, fiscal solvency, and long-term facility management.

4. Manages the revenue generation and operating budget within the guidelines set forth by University Finance.

5. Directly supervises the Assistant Directors of Housing Assignments, and Housing Operations respectively.

6. Develops all housing documents and marketing publications including student housing contracts, CSC laundry contract, on-campus housing guide, and off-campus housing guide.

7. Determines fiscal requirements and prepares budgetary recommendations; monitor, verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds for housing operations, and off-campus housing services.

8. Oversees, identifies, and manages residential facility improvement projects, annual inspections, and refurnishing projects in the residence halls inclusive of annually updating capital expenditure plans.

9. Develops, establishes, and maintains processes to provide the highest quality customer service based on needs assessment and evaluation of end-user satisfaction.

10. Mediates residential student and parent disputes associated with Dining Services, Facilities Management, contracts, assignments, and other university functions.

11. Serves on various university committees such as needed; ex. the Enrollment Student Services Financial Gap Outreach Team, the University Safety Committee.

12. Formulates, recommends, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, programs, processes, and systems within the office to ensure that residents have high quality facilities and services.

13. Establishes partnerships across the university to foster student success and a university community while leveraging partnerships and marketing strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and engagement goals.

14. Develops and administers related budgets, including revenue forecasting, planning, and monitoring of expenses.

15. Oversees the selection, supervision, training and evaluation of professional and paraprofessional staff members.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Required Education:Master's DegreeMajor (if required):Higher Education, Business Administration, or related fieldRequired Experience:1. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive full-time experience in housing or related field.

2. Experience supervising full-time staff.

3. Experience leading the vision and development of student experiences.Preferred Qualifications:1. Six (6) or more years of progressive full-time experience in housing or related field.

2. Experience with training others, supervision, assessment, goal setting and accomplishment.

3. Experience with collaboration with offices across campus.

4. Experience with occupancy management.
