Subject to Grant Funding?:No Essential Job Functions:1. Supervises daily front desk operations including financial transactions to ensure optimal revenue collection.

2. Supervises assigned staff to include, interviewing, disciplining employees, performance management, training, coaching, and any other employee related actions. Reviews and approves time-sheets in Kronos for direct reports.

3. Monitors work of clinical staff to ensure work is performed according to clinic standards.

4. Coordinates staff schedules and rotations to ensure appropriate levels of staffing, cross-training and standardization to maximize clinical efficiency.

5. Oversees facility work orders and acts as administrator to ensure efficient use of work space. Oversees regular maintenance of units and equipment.

6. Supervises scheduling of patient appointments to ensure smooth patient flow and business operations.

7. Oversees and reviews and reviews data and/or accounts in NSU specific software systems.

8. Responds to internal (NSU) and external inquiries and resolves complex problems requiring broad understanding of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.Marginal Job Functions: Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:1. Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the customer support department.

2. Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.

3. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulatory bodies affecting healthcare practices.

4. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

5. Knowledge and understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

6. Leadership and management skills to motivate and mentor staff.

7. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).

8. Ability and willingness to travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with others.

2. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.

3. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.

4. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards.

5. Must be able to lift items weighing in excess of 10lbs.Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Required Education:High School Diploma or EquivalentMajor (if required): Required Experience:Minimum four (4) years' experience in a customer support department in a medical environment.Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems.
