Job Description:


The Department of Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at York College of Pennsylvania is pleased to invite applications for an adjunct position to teach human resource management in the spring 2022 semester. Qualified candidates should be able to teach courses such as HR Management, HR Development, and/or employment law. Qualified candidates will possess relevant professional experience including strategic human resource planning, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, labor relations, needs assessment, the design, planning and implementation of new programs and policies, HRD management, and evaluation of HRD efforts.


York College is a teaching-focused institution. Adjunct faculty are required to hold regular office hours and to attend all meetings relevant to the position



Requirements:


A successful candidate will have a minimum of a MBA or MS in a related field (Human Resource, Organizational Development) from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. or D.B.A. (or ABD).


Preference will also be given to candidates with five years of relevant industry experience and at least two years of teaching experience in a higher educational setting. Candidates must be willing and able to teach classes in person, although experience with online or hybrid teaching is desirable.
