Job Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to all ticketing facets of Men's Basketball and Softball, including potential travel to Men's Basketball road games, preseason and post-season play, Big 12 championships, NCAA Championship events and other responsibilities directed by Associate Director and/or Associate AD. Additional sport specific management duties as designated. Under supervision of Associate AD and/or Associate Director and in collaboration with Sales, POSSE (annual giving), Marketing and Analytics, lead development of ticket pricing, packaging, and key dates such as renewals, on-sales, seat sections, etc. This position will also assist with inbound sales and service during periods of high call or in-person volume. -Travel required in performing job: In and out of state to work at Athletics events and Department functions as needed.
-Work varies beyond 8:30am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday: Events are scheduled after 5pm and on weekends. Special circumstances such as required meetings, travel, ticket/information preparation/distribution may warrant being on duty other than standard work schedule. This role presents potential for dealing with verbally and physically confrontational individuals.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent’s salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field. Extended experience within industry may be considered as "related field." One year of supervisory, customer service, public relations and/or computer experience

Management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service skills-communications, problem solving, flexibility, strong phone skills.
Ability to interpret, understand, implement, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations preferred.
Proficiency with computer operations required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand on feet up to 3 hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field. Knowledge of Ticketmaster software; Experience in Athletic Ticketing
