Job Summary
The Club Soccer Coach - Part Time is responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective and competitive club soccer program. The recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes in this program will be integral to this position. The Coach is responsible for all aspects that relate to the club soccer program to include the ongoing development of the student athletes. The Coach will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to promote the physical, intellectual, and social growth of student-athletes. This is a 19hrs/week, non-benefited position.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Recruit quality student-athletes who can excel in the academic, athletic and social spheres at Georgia Southern University
  • Develop team strategies and analyze performance of student-athletes
  • Plan and coordinate practices, travel and game schedules
  • Assist in planning and managing the program's budget

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's degree

Preferred Experience
  • Collegiate coaching experience

Proposed Salary
$17.50 per hour
