Position: Assistant Professor of School Psychology (Tenure Track).

The Department of Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology, and Counseling at the University of Alabama invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2022. Minimum qualifications include (1) a doctoral degree from an APA and/or NASP accredited school psychology program, and (2) eligibility for certification as a school psychologist and/or licensure as a psychologist in Alabama, as well as a commitment to obtain these state credentials if hired. Candidates should have evidence of, or the potential, to develop a comprehensive and sustained agenda of research, scholarship, and grants in school psychology. Candidates also should have a strong commitment to diversity, social justice, and culturally responsive practices. Life in Tuscaloosa The University of Alabama is located in West Alabama and is 45 minutes southwest of Birmingham, Alabama. Tuscaloosa, a quintessential college town with a population of 101,113, has excellent recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities available.
