Position Summary::The University of Alabama (UA) seeks an innovative leader who can connect a larger programmatic vision while maintaining a detail-level focus, and who possesses strong communication and organizational skills, to serve as the next Full Professor-Associate Dean for Educational Programs and Student Services of the School of Social Work. The position is a twelve-month, tenure/tenure-track, full time, 1.0 FTE academic appointment scheduled to begin August 16, 2022.

Position SummaryThe University of Alabama (UA) seeks an innovative leader who can connect a larger programmatic vision while maintaining a detail-level focus, and who possesses strong communication and organizational skills, to serve as the next Associate Dean for Educational Programs and Student Services of the School of Social Work. The position will begin on August 16, 2022. The School seeks an individual with a commitment to shared governance principles, including accountable leadership, collaborative decision-making, and effective, open, and transparent communication. The School encourages members of historically under-represented groups to apply. QualificationsPh.D. in Social Work from an accredited university and an MSW. The candidate must also possess a record of excellence in research, teaching and scholarship that merits appointment as a tenured full professor.
