Salary Information:HIRING RANGE: $18.14-$19.43 per hour based on experience.Pay Grade: 07
Job Summary:Maintain operations of the Physical Plant warehouse and inventory system. Program key cards, and maintain records.
Essential Functions:Maintain all aspects of operations for the physical plant warehouse which serves all DMACC campuses’ daily needs through Banner software in compliance with the state of Iowa auditor’s office.Write Intellis and Tesa electronic lock key cards for all campuses, and maintain records of employees’ access. Issue and maintain departmental tools.Assist mechanical/electrical department and serve as a backup for the locksmith and carpenter positions.Assist DMACC staff, faculty, and students in ordering tools, furniture, and supplies for use at all campuses.Operate forklift, physical plant equipment, and handles a wide variety of chemicals.Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent.
Two years of general clerical, parts clerk, stock desk, and/or warehouse experience.
Good math/accounting skills.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and bend, twist, and climb stairs.
Possesses a valid Iowa Driver’s License, with satisfactory driving record.
Knowledge of current software applications.
Ability to interact effectively, courteously and impartially with diverse populations.
Work experience that would familiarize an individual with plumbing, electrical, custodial, boiler, lighting, and other maintenance parts and supplies.
Carpenter and/or locksmith experience.

• Horizontal push/pull of 15 lbs of force up to 10 ft

• Lift of 50 lbs Floor to Waist
• Lift of 30 lbs from Waist to Shoulder
• Carry of 50 lbs for 10 ft
