The Associate Director, under general supervision, assists in coordinating comprehensive plans for CPH clinical field placements and IPE. The incumbent assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures compliance measures for clinical field placement and accreditation related to IPE.  The incumbent is responsible for collaborating with general counsel and risk management to execute affiliation agreements, oversees compliance and regulatory requirements for field placements across CPH departments in collaboration with program directors.

Responsibilities include the following: Manages and tracks affiliation agreements; Oversees student health related and legal compliances for clinical field across CPH departments. This includes background checks, CPH, HIPPA, blood borne pathogens etc. Ensure this process is initiated and providing follow up for completion; In collaboration with HIM leadership oversees implementation and day to day operations of a clinical practice management system such as tracking compliance records in the system, training departments and students, and follow up evaluations; In collaboration with HIM leadership recommends process improvements for the system and data management; Collaborate with Director and Associate Dean to build relationships for clinical and field placements. This includes working with TU Health Systems and other health systems and agencies; Prepares operational reports to assist with alignment of clinical and field placements and accreditation; May supervise administrative and clerical staff; Assists witthe dissemination of program and accreditation information to CPH Program Directors. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least five years of directly related experience in clinical compliance and data management systems. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Must be able to travel to locations outside of Philadelphia, as required.
*Experience in data collection, management, and analysis.
*Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively and focus on completion of tasks.
*Strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Demonstrated excellence in customer service and willingness to work as a team member and collaborate with colleagues on projects.
*Demonstrated ability to operate all standard office equipment and software including MS Office.
*Demonstrated ability to understand and apply University and College policies and procedures.

Preferred:
*Masters degree
*Experience in Risk Management

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week and requires a background check.

Please note this position will temporarily work remotely, the duration of remote work will be at the discretion of Temple University and the department.
